PORTLAND — The School Board is inviting the public to weigh in on the search for the next superintendent of schools.
The board will host community forums from 7-8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4, at King Middle School, 92 Deering Ave., and at Casco Bay High School, 196 Allen Ave. Interpreters will be available at King Middle School.
Earlier in the day on Feb. 4, focus groups will be held with invited stakeholders.
The board is also asking the public to fill out an online survey to help aid the search. The survey can be completed at svy.mk/1KFq0WH until Feb. 12.
The School Department hopes to have a new superintendent in place by July 1.
