BRUNSWICK — Incumbent Democratic Rep. Charles Priest has won his fourth consecutive term for state House District 63, defeating Republican candidate John Bouchard, 3,185 to 1,451.
Priest won the race by 68 percent, according to unofficial results provided by the Town Clerk.
Priest previously won uncontested elections in 2008 and 2010, and a contested election in 2006. The representative previously served in the House for three terms from 1984-1990.
Bouchard is a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Brunswick, and he was seeking public office for the first time.
