BATH — A Woolwich man who bought a Powerball ticket at the Clipper Mart on Leeman Highway should have an especially merry Christmas.
A $1 million Powerball winning ticket was sold there for Wednesday’s drawing, according to a Maine Lottery press release Thursday. Terry Taylor matched five numbers to win, and he received a check for $700,000 after taxes.
Powerball tickets can be bought at more than 1,200 lottery retailers throughout Maine.
