The Portland boys’ U-19 rugby team, coached by Rocky Frenzilli, captured its second straight Maine/New Hampshire championship Saturday in Pembroke, N.H. The top-seeded “Power Pigs” defeated No. 3 Kearsage, N.H., 27-0, behind tries from Portland’s Tomas Callan, Greely’s Francisco Marques and Chase Rochon and Cape Elizabeth’s Jack McDonald and Caleb Tracey and a Marques conversion, and No. 2 Seacoast, 17-0, as Callan  and Scarborough’s Joe Turner had tries, while Marques converted both and slotted a penalty with 10 minutes left to seal the title. This is the second year in a row Portland went undefeated in league play.
