PORTLAND — Organizers on Thursday postponed the eighth annual Portland Polar Dip, which was scheduled for noon Saturday, Feb. 21, at East End Beach, because of ice floes in the water.
The event will be rescheduled, but the new date has not yet been determined.
The dip into Casco Bay is a fundraiser for Casco-based Camp Sunshine, which welcomes children with life-threatening illnesses and their families for activities along Sebago Lake.
