PORTLAND — City consultants are seeking public input June 11 about how to provide better bicycle and pedestrian access in two neighborhoods.
Spokeswoman Carol Morris said the 6-8 p.m. event in the State of Maine room at City Hall will focus on West Commercial Street and linking Back Cove and Baxter Boulevard to the new Martin’s Point Bridge.
The workshop will begin with a presentation on current conditions, followed by public comment on how to improve all modes of transportation.
Input will be used to shape a study by Alta Planning & Design of Cambridge, Massachusetts, TY Lin International of Falmouth, and MRLD Landscape Architecture and Urbanism of Yarmouth.
