PORTLAND — Police continue to investigate a March 29 traffic accident that injured a 21-year-old city woman.
Police Lt. Aaron Pepin on Saturday said the pedestrian, identified Monday as Hailey Isabelle, was struck around 9:20 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Franklin and Middle streets by a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by Justin Zukowski, 23. As of Monday, April 1, charges had not been filed against Zukowski.
Zukowski is also a city resident. Isabelle received serious, but not life-threatening injuries, Pepin said.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the accident to call 874-8532 or 874-8575. Anonymous tips can also be made at portland-police.com by clicking “Submit an Anonymous Crime Tip,” or by text at 274637 using the keyword GOTCHA.
