Portland voters back Vendil for School Board

PORTLAND — Voters backed incumbent School Board member Jenna Vendil to return to represent District 1 for a third term.

Unofficial results showed Vendil received 1,482 votes, compared to the 1,023 received by her challenger, Josephine Okot. Vendil received just over 59 percent of the vote.

Holly Seeliger, who represents District 2, was reelected to her second term after running unopposed. She received 2,480 votes.
