Led by kindergartners from Reiche Elementary School, 93 seniors from Casco Bay High School parade down Congress Street from the Portland Museum of Art to the downtown post office on Friday, Dec. 18, to mail college applications. The afternoon event was the school’s third annual “March to the Post Office” to celebrate every senior completing at least one college application. It also promoted the Portland Public Schools’ goal to graduate every student college ready. Afterwards, the Class of 2016 was greeted at City Hall by many friends, family and supporters, including Mayor Ethan Strimling.
