Casco Bay High School senior Abdi Hassan, center, marches alongside more than 60 classmates during a parade Friday, Dec. 13, on Congress Street in Portland. The parade, which started at Congress Square, ended with the entire senior class depositing their college applications at the post office on Congress Street. About 50 middle school students lined portions of the street to cheer the seniors. Casco Bay High School requires each student to apply to college.
