Cheverus seniors honored
Cheverus senior football standouts Ryan Casale and Donald Goodrich have been selected to receive Scholar-Athlete awards by the Maine Chapter of the National Football Foundation. Casale and Goodrich will be honored at banquet at Bowdoin College May 22.
Portland Bulldog Challenge upcoming
The inaugural Portland Bulldog Challenge, a 2.5-mile race through mud, water, obstacles and more mud, will be held May 18 at the Portland Arts and Technology High School, 196 Allen Ave. Run/crawl as an individual or as part of a four-person team to support scholarships and provide equipment, training and other athletic needs. Prizes will be awarded to top finishers and T-shirts will be given to those who register before April 30. FMI, portlandbulldogchallenge.com.
