Portland Rec hosting an Allagash canoe trip
Portland Recreation is hosting its second annual canoe trip on the Allagash Wilderness Waterway from Sunday, June 23 to Sunday, June 30. The 90-mile adventure from Eagle Lake to Allagash Village is led by registered Maine Guide Tom Gerard. The cost for the all-inclusive trip, including transportation, is $650.00. SMCC holding golf tournament
Southern Maine Community College’s Seawolves Athletic Club and the SMCC athletic department will host its 9th annual golf tournament Tuesday at Prouts Neck Country Club in Scarborough. Proceeds go to to help improve the student-athlete experience at the college. Foursome registration is $250, which includes fee, cart, box lunch, a post-tourney reception and prizes.
