Southern Maine Flame tryouts upcoming
The Southern Maine Flame softball program is holding tryouts for the 2014 season Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 25 at 3 p.m. at Wainwright Farms in South Portland. A $20 fee is required. FMI, southernmaineflame.com.
PAYSA registration open
Registration is open for the Portland Area Youth Soccer Association fall recreation program for children ages 5 to 11. The program is divided by age and boys and girls play separately. Register soon to ensure placement. FMI, paysasoccer.com.
