Deering baseball coach steps down

Deering baseball coach Tim Eisenhart has stepped down after three seasons. Eisenhart, who went 10-38, said that focusing on his wife and two young boys, his duties as a math teacher and math department chair, studying for his Masters and time spent playing music all factored into his decision.
“Coaching has been a great deal of fun,” Eisenhart said. “It helped me connect with the students I teach in a deeper way. I want to continue coaching (Legion ball). I can spend time with my family during the day and coach at night. By not being a high school coach, I can work with players all year to give them a chance to compete for college spots on a national level.”
