Maine Basketball Hall of Fame induction upcoming
The inaugural Maine Basketball Hall of Fame will be inducted Thursday at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. The Hall will honor 22 individuals and one team. Dinner is served from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with the induction following. FMI, 942-6389 or mainebasketballhalloffame.com.
SMCC taking Hall of Fame nominations
South Maine Community College is accepting nominations through Monday for the 2014 Athletics Hall of Fame class which will be honored during a ceremony in November.
