Waynflete coaching openings

SMCC golf fundraiser
Southern Maine Community College is hosting its fifth annual athletic department and foundation fundraising golf tournament June 16 at Prouts Neck Country Club in Scarborough. Proceeds help the college's continued effort to offer one of the best small college athletic programs in New England.

Portland Community Rowing offering youth program
The Portland Community Rowing Association is presenting a Learn-to-Row Youth Program for teens ages 14 through 18, as part of its inaugural Recreation Program, June 17 through 20. There will also be an information session and fundraiser May 30.

Lady Rams Hoops Camp upcoming
The two-time defending Class A state champion girls' basketball program is holding a Hoop Camp from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., June 29 through July 3 at the Deering gym. The camp is directed by Rams varsity coach Mike Murphy. Cost is $150 per player. FMI, 854-1775.

PAYSA fall recreation program taking registration
Registration is now open for the Portland Area Youth Soccer Association's fall recreation program, open to boys and girls ages 4 through 12. The fee is $65. Registration deadline is July 10. FMI, paysasoccer.com.
