Red Claws to benefit “Play It Smart”

The Maine Red Claws will hold an intrasquad scrimmage at the Portland Expo Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. to benefit the Portland High “Play It Smart” program, a national program committed to improving the academic performance of high school student-athletes from economically disadvantaged areas. Sea Dogs pitcher offering clinic

Portland Sea Dogs pitcher Ryne Lawson will present a pitching clinic Saturday, Nov. 21 at the Falmouth Middle School gym. The 8-12 year old session goes from 6 to 7 p.m. A 13-18 year old clinic runs from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. The cost is $20. FMI, 318-6056 or matthew.rogers@ubs.com.

Casco Bay Sports presents November Sports Leagues

Casco Bay Sports is offering several co-ed sports leagues beginning next month. Sunday Evening Basketball starts Nov. 1. Monday Night Bowling begins Nov. 16. Wednesday Dodgeball starts Nov. 18.
