Portland Porpoises holding open registration

Maine Premier Lacrosse offering 8th grade division

Lacrosse stringing clinics continue
Atlantic Sportswear’s new lacrosse retail store LAXPROS will host its first women’s stringing clinic on Monday from 6:30 to 8 p.m. The next men’s clinic is March 18 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Clinics are held at 36 Waldron Way in Portland. FMI, steve@laxpros.com or laxpros.com.
Boys’ lacrosse clinic upcoming
Laxpros and North Yarmouth Academy are hosting a free boys’ youth lacrosse coaches’ clinic Saturday, March 27 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at NYA’s gymnasium. The clinic is designed to help youth and middle school coaches understand the basics of lacrosse as well as new drills and techniques. FMI, bmeyers@nya.org.
Portland hosting lax playday
The defending Class A state champion Portland boys’ lacrosse team is hosting its seventh annual preseason playday Saturday, April 3, at Fitzpatrick Stadium.
