Portland Porpoise holding assessments/registration
The Portland Porpoise Swim Club will hold assessments and registration on Sunday at 2:30 p.m., at the Riverton Community Center for school-age children interested in competitive swimming. RipTide ASA softball tryouts
The Maine RipTide girls’ ASA softball team is holding tryouts for its 2012 U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16 and U-18 teams Saturday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Greely Road Field in Cumberland. Registration is $350.
