Longtime Portland High School boys’ soccer coach Rocco Frenzilli will be inducted into the Maine Sports Legends’ Hall of Honors Oct. 12 in Waterville. Frenzilli, who at press time, was three wins shy of 200 for his career with the Bulldogs, started the program in 1972 and has served off and on as coach, while also seeing time as the school’s girls’ soccer coach and athletic director. Frenzilli is one of 10 inductees.
