PORTLAND — The Portland Public Schools are accepting online applications for students entering pre-kindergarten and kindergarten in the fall. Registration runs through March 8.
The online link is available on the School Department’s website at www.portlandschools.org. Application forms are also available at any of the city’s elementary schools or at the district’s central office and Multilingual Center, 353 Cumberland Ave.
Children entering kindergarten must be 5 years old by Oct. 15 and children entering pre-K must be 4 years old by the same date. Once the online registration is complete, parents will also have to go to their neighborhood school and present all of the required supporting documents.
