PORTLAND — Students, faculty and staff at St. Brigid School are asking the community to help them make Christmas bright for area children in need.
On Thursday, Dec. 14, the METRO Toy Bus will stop at the school, from 9-10 a.m., to collect new, unwrapped toys or books for the Joy of Sharing campaign, which partners with the Salvation Army to deliver thousands of toys during the holidays.
Anyone who can’t make the event Thursday is welcome to drop off a contribution at WGME, at 81 Northport Drive. The Joy of Sharing campaign runs through Dec. 15.
