Portland runs to benefit Hear ME Now

PORTLAND — Registration is open for the Hear ME Run 5K, 10K and fun runs on Sunday, Sept. 14.

The races along Back Cove and Eastern Promenade benefit Falmouth-based Hear Me Now’s services for adults and children with hearing loss.

The rain-or-shine event features prizes for overall winners and age groups. Online registration before Friday, Sept. 12, is $35 for the 10K run, $25 for the 5K run and $10 for the Fun Run. There is also a $2.50 processing fee with all online registrations.

Race-day registrations begin at 7 a.m. at the Preble Street parking lot at Back Cove. Fees are $40 for the 10K, $30 for the 5K and $15 for the Fun Run. The 10K race begins at 7:45 a.m., the 5K at 8 a.m. and the Fun Run at 9 a.m.
