PORTLAND — Skeletal remains found in a wooded area near Hutchins Drive on Aug. 4 have been identified, police announced Monday.
The remains were that of Toina Hanson, 31, of Portland. Hanson’s identity was confirmed through items discovered at the scene, along with review of her medical records by the city’s chief medical examiner. The manner of death has not been determined, and the case remains under investigation.
