PORTLAND — Registration is open for the first Chamber Mile, a one-mile road race to be held in conjunction with the May 19 Portland Regional Chamber of Commerce Community Business Expo.
The race will begin at 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of High and Pleasant streets and follow Pleasant, Fore and India streets to the Eastern Prom Trail and expo site at Portland Co. Building No. 5.
The expo, free and open to the public, runs from 3-8 p.m. at 58 Fore St.
Along with race prizes for top finishers in all age groups, the Corporate Challenge Cup will be awarded for the fastest time clocked by an organization.
