PORTLAND — A public information meeting about the Police Citizens Review Subcommittee will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in City Hall Room 209.

City spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said Police Chief Michael Sauschuck, committee Chairwoman Kelly McDonald and a representative from the city corporation counsel’s office will explain the purpose and procedures of the 15-year-old subcommittee.

The subcommittee, part of the city Civil Service Commission, meets on the second Wednesday of each month to review the process of police investigation of citizen’s complaints and provide input on the complaint process.
