PORTLAND — A 31-year-old Portland man was indicted by a grand jury Friday in Cumberland County District Court on two charges of gross sexual assault.
Ryan Cook is accused of sexually assaulting an underage girl between January 2011 and February 2013. One charge he is facing is a Class A felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison while the other is a Class B offense in which Cook faces up to 10 years behind bars.
Details on the assaults were not immediately available Monday afternoon.
