SOUTH PORTLAND — A Portland man accused of firing a shotgun along the Greenbelt and breaking into nearby vehicles in November was indicted this month on several charges.

Terry J. Tucker Jr., 28, was arrested after police were called to the Greenbelt near Mildred Street, Lt. Thomas Simonds said last November.

Tucker was indicted by a Cumberland County grand jury on Feb. 9 on charges of theft of a firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, burglary of a motor vehicle, theft, two counts of assault, two counts of violating bail and one charge of possession of drugs.

An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but a determination there is enough evidence to warrant charges.
