PORTLAND — The biennial budget recently proposed by Gov. Paul LePage and its possible effects on the city and state will be discussed at an April 2 public forum hosted by members of Portland’s delegation to the Maine Legislature.

The 5:30 p.m. forum in Rines Auditorium at Portland Public Library, 5 Monument Square, is expected to be attended by Democratic Sens. Justin Alfond and Anne Haskell, and Democratic Reps. Mark Dion, Peter Stuckey, Erik Jorgensen, Denise Harlow, Dick Farnsworth, Matt Moonen, Ben Chipman and Diane Russell.
