The Lady of Hope 7th grade travel basketball team won the championship flight of the Grade 7/8 Maine Hoops Fall league at the XL Sportszone earlier this month with a 69-66 victory over the Yes Grade 8 travel team. Five players scored in double digits, led by Griffin Foley with 15 points, Owen Martinson with 13 and Connor Buckley, Terion Moss and Emmanual Yugu with 10 each. Charlie Egeland and Blaze Vail also scored. The team is coached by Peter Buckley and Wade Martinson and will be playing up in the 8th grade division of the Cape Travel League this winter.
