PORTLAND — Tommy’s Park, at Middle and Exchange streets, will be the site of the ninth annual Longest Day of Homelessness Summer Solstice Vigil on Tuesday, June 21.

Sponsored by Homeless Voices for Justice, the vigil will be held from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Preble Street Advocacy Coordinator Jan Bindas-Tenney said June 10.

During the vigil, Homeless Voices for Justice advocates will be joined by community members and other organizations in an effort to show causes and circumstances for homelessness and how to end it.

Bindas-Tenney said the public is invited to join the vigil.
