PORTLAND — The Portland Fire Museum, 157 Spring St., will be open noon-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 and 19 to celebrate Christmas with Santa Claus.

City spokeswoman Jessica Grondin announced the events in a Dec. 2 press release, noting the celebrations are sponsored by Portland Veteran Firemen’s Association and the Portland Fire Department.

Along with visits from Santa, there will be a Christmas village display that includes 20 ceramic firehouses, and a vintage 1938 fire truck. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted. Children must be accompanied by supervising parents or guardians.
