PORTLAND — The U.S. Department of Transportation has made a $2.56 million grant to Casco Bay Lines to fund a second phase of terminal renovations at the Maine State Pier.
The Passenger Ferry Grant was announced Aug. 26 by U.S. Sens. Susan Collins, R-Maine, and Angus King, an independent.
CBL General Manager Hank Berg has said the second phase of work would renovate an older section of the terminal while upgrading areas for passenger pick-ups and dropoffs.
