PORTLAND — The Department of Public Works is expected to be operating in new offices at 212 Canco Road by the end of the week.
City Hall spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said the move from 55 Portland St. began Monday.
Grondin said staff will not have direct access to office phones during the move, but the public can call the main reception line at 874-8801.
Anyone in need of a street occupancy permit is encouraged to use the Citizen Self Portal at egweb.portlandmaine.gov. Permits can also be obtained at the DPW Dispatch Office at 250 Canco Road, but only cash and checks will be accepted.
