PORTLAND — The city Disability Advisory Committee will resume monthly meetings at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6. Meetings will be held in Room 24, in the basement of City Hall.

The committee will be led by Renee Berry-Huffman and Karen Perry and include representatives from Alpha One, the Disability Rights Center, The Iris Network, Greater Portland Metro Bus Service, the Preble Street Resource Center and residents, city spokeswoman Jessica Grondin said.

The committee is expected to evaluate city accessibility compliance and programs, while making the public better aware of accommodation and accessibility issues. Grondin said new members are welcome.
