PORTLAND — The third annual Let’s Go! 5-2-1-0 National Childhood Obesity Conference will be held Sept. 18 and 19 at MaineHealth, 110 Free St.
The conference is held in conjunction with National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month, and is expected to draw at least 150 health-care and public-health professionals from around the globe.
Keynote speakers are childhood obesity experts Dr. Robert Lustig and Dr. David Ludwig. Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation, Maine Health, The Barbara Bush Children Hospital, and the Maine chapter of American Academy of Pediatrics are conference partners, according to a Sept. 2 press release.
