PORTLAND — Candidates running for Cumberland County District Attorney will meet to discuss criminal justice topics at 6 p.m. Monday, May 7.
The forum will be held at the First Parish UU Church, 425 Congress St.
Hosted by the church and the Portland Center for Restorative Justice, candidates at the forum plan to discuss mass incarceration, racial and economic disparity, sentencing and bail reform, immigration and youth justice.
Among those on the panel asking questions will be representatives from the Maine ACLU, Maine Defense Attorneys Association, the Immigrant Legal Advocacy Project and University of Maine Law School.
