PORTLAND — Eastern Cemetery is celebrating its 350th anniversary with stone-carving demonstrations from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.
Visitors are welcome to view demonstrations by Matt Barnes of Yankee Slate Cutting, and tour the cemetery and learn more about its history and burial customs through the ages.
