AUGUSTA — Teachers in Portland and Cape Elizabeth are semifinalists for the state Department of Education’s 2012 Teacher of the Year Award.
Paige Fournier of Portland’s Lyman Moore Middle School and Ingrid Stressenger of Cape Elizabeth’s Pond Cove Elementary School are among six semifinalists announced by the state on Tuesday.
The winner will be announced at a surprise all-school assembly in September.
