PORTLAND — Construction crews have closed one lane of the Washington Avenue southbound on-ramp to Interstate 295 as they repair and pave Tukey’s Bridge.
The closure is expected to last until the end of July, and the Maine Department of Transportation is warning motorists to expect delays on Washington Avenue and other East Deering roads.
Additionally, traffic on Tukey’s Bridge will be reduced to two lanes between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. Crews are expected to work on the bridge day and night on the southbound side.
On the northbound side, crews continue to perform nighttime guardrail repairs.
