PORTLAND — Jewish Family Services and the Williston-Immanuel Church will be hosting a diaper drive during Diaper Need Awareness Week, Sept. 26 to Oct. 2.
Diapers may be donated at the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine, 57 Ashmont St.; Williston-Immanuel United Church, 156 High St.; Greenlight Studio, 49 Dartmouth St., and Birth Roots, 101 State St.
JFS will also be hosting the first Maine Diaper Summit, a strategy session to develop a plan for ending diaper need in Maine. The summit is in conjunction with the Diaper Fund of Rockport and the We Care Community Baby Center in Machias.
