PORTLAND — Police on Monday again asked for the public’s help in identifying the body of a woman found May 22 on East End Beach.

A press release from Lt. James Sweatt said the woman’s death is not considered suspicious. She is described as Asian, 5 feet 1 inch tall, about 100 pounds, with dark brown hair that had been worn in a pony tail.

She also had pierced earlobes, a 6-inch scar on her abdomen, cosmetic tattooed eyebrows, and is believed to be between 30 and 50 years of age.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 874-8533 or Emergency Communications at 874-8575. Anonymous tips can be texted to police at 274637 with the keyword “GOTCHA” preceding the tip.
