PORTLAND — Police are seeking a dark-haired white male with “a dark scruffy beard and mustache” suspected of robbing Angela Adams Designs at 273 Congress St. on Tuesday.

Police said the suspect, described as between 25 and 30 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, entered the store around 1:30 p.m. and demanded cash from an employee. He did not display a weapon, and was given an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing east on Congress Street. No injuries were reported in the robbery.

The suspect was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and light-colored baggy jeans. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call police at 874-8575.
