Police: Scarborough man missing in Portland

SCARBOROUGH — Police are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a 23-year-old man reported missing since late Friday.

Matthew Foster was last seen around 11:30 p.m. Friday, June 10, inside the Oasis bar on Wharf Street in Portland’s Old Port. He was expected to meet up with friends later and never arrived, according to press release from the Portland and Scarborough Police departments.

Foster, who has Type 1 diabetes, had one daily dose of his medication with him, and was not carrying a cell phone, police said. His phone and car are still at his home.

Foster was wearing khakis, a blue button-down shirt and white sneakers. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds, with blue eyes and brown hair.
