CUMBERLAND — The Police Department will host a Lunch-N-Learn seminar June 26 from 11 a.m. to noon. The seminar is aimed toward senior community members, and will cover issues surrounding financial crimes and the exploitation of senior citizens.

The guest speaker next week will be Hanna Sanders, the legal services provider for Elder Services of Maine. She will cover issues around predatory lending, financial exploitation and other abuses that target Maine’s seniors. The presentation will last about 40 minutes, followed by a question-and-answer session. A light lunch will be provided.

The department asks that those interested please RSVP by calling the station at 829-2210 during business hours, or email jduchesneau@cumberlandmaine.edu.
