2/8 at 11:18 p.m. Jonathan Godsoe, 26, of Memorial Highway, North Yarmouth, was arrested by Officer Cheryl Dupuis and charged with violating condition of release.
2/10 at 9:07 p.m. Timothy Klajbor, 48, of Hillcrest Street, Gardiner, was arrested by Officer Cheryl Dupuis and charged with operating under the influence.
2/11 at 11:15 a.m. Jason Sinclair, 33, of Grand Street, South Portland, was arrested by Det. Tom Brady and Officer Stephen Hamilton on a warrant and was also charged with violating condition of release.
2/9 at 4:07 p.m. Kim Noonan, 43, of Farwell Avenue, Cumberland, was issued a summons by Officer George Savidge on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.
Close encounters, the glowing kind
2/7 at 5:08 a.m. A Hadlock Road resident called police to report seeing a bright glow in the sky visible from his dairy farm. After checking the area, the responding officer determined the cloud-covered moon was casting the diffused glow along the horizon. It was not reported whether any cows were baying.
Too close an encounter
2/7 at 10:54 p.m. Police were called to Wal-Mart on Route 1 because of a suspicious car parked in the rear of the store lot. When police checked on the car, they allegedly caught Jonathan Godsoe, 26, of North Yarmouth, in the car, violating his bail condition of release by “making out” with a woman with whom he was forbidden to have contact. Godsoe was subsequently arrested.
2/10 at 7:16 p.m. A suspicious incident was reported to police by a Woodville Road resident. A woman had come to his front door inquiring about his family and children and asking to come inside. He refused to let her in and she took off in a worn Ford Escape wagon with a loud exhaust.

2/10 at 4:18 p.m. A Crossing Brook Road resident called police because a man had pulled up in front of her house and had been sitting in the car for 15 minutes. An officer spoke with the man who told him he had pulled his car over to use his cell phone.
2/12 at 10:11 p.m. Two women who were alone in a Range Road home called police to report they’d heard something at the back door and thought there might be a burglar in the house. The officers who responded found no one but discovered the source of the noise: An awning handle was banging on the side of the house.
2/13 at 6:53 a.m. A caller reported vandalism at the West Cumberland Community Hall on Blackstrap Road. The investigating officer found evidence of old damage to the green field shed. One door board had been forcibly removed but no one had gained access and there were no footprints in the snow.
2/13 at 2:04 p.m. The animal control officer picked up two feral cats after they’d been fixed at the Westbrook Vet Center and returned them to North Road, where they rejoined two other feral cats that had previously been fixed. An area homeowner will continue to feed them.
