YARMOUTH — BusinessWeek magazine, in a list of the nation’s best high schools, named Yarmouth High School Maine’s “Best Overall Academic Performance” and “Best Improved.”
Deering High School was named “Parent’s Choice” for public schools.
BusinessWeek.com worked in conjunction with GreatSchools, a San Francisco non-profit, to rate schools in each state in several categories. Each state’s standardized test scores in math, reading and science were used to determine the winners, along with parent votes.
