PORTLAND — A man arrested in an October 2011 drug bust that netted pills, guns, and cash will serve four years in jail after pleading guilty in Cumberland County Superior Court on March 15.

Nelson Cruz, 27, was arrested after Maine Drug Enforcement Agency officials searched his home at 297 Presumpscot St. on Oct. 19, 2011, and found 360 Oxycodone pills and smaller amounts of what was believed to be heroin and crack cocaine. Officers also confiscated five guns and $4,750 in cash.

Cruz was sentenced to 12 years following his guilty plea. All but four years of the sentence will be suspended. Cruz will be on probation for three years following his release.
