Third-grader Elisa Membreno and other students at Peaks Island Elementary School spent their Friday morning recess jumping rope to 350, in recognition of the International Day of Climate Action. The number 350 represents the amount of carbon dioxide, in parts per billion, that scientists have identified as the safe upper limit for our atmosphere.
