YARMOUTH — Organizers of an all-day music festival scheduled for Sept. 6 in Royal River Park are seeking volunteers, food and retail vendors, and musicians in a variety of genres.
“There’s so much hidden talent in our community, and we wanted a forum to showcase it,” said Tim Winchester, who is organizing the first Yarmouthpalooza festival in partnership with Yarmouth Community Services.
Winchester said he envisions a fun, family-friendly environment with no alcohol where people can lay down picnic blankets and enjoy music from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. He expects to draw at least 500 people.
